From release to object

An archive object is not decoration added after a release. It is another surface through which the release can remain present, handled, and remembered.

The archive is the source

Release-linked objects begin with a real relationship in the 3TIL9 archive: a title, artist, visual language, or documented moment. Product pages show those links so the object can be traced back to its context.

An object should carry context

The object type, placement, and production route are chosen to support the source rather than imitate mass-market merchandise. Where a sample or final placement still requires confirmation, the page says so directly.

  • Release and artist links remain visible on the product page.
  • Internal supplier notes and SKUs are never presented as cultural provenance.
  • A graphic plate is a catalogue representation, not a claim of finished photography.

When an object leads you to a release, listen before deciding. When a release leads you to an object, use the product details to understand what will actually be made. The connection works in both directions.
